Jörg Skriebeleit is a cultural studies scholar, historian, and head of the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial. Since 2019, he has been an Honorary Professor at the University of Regensburg. He completed his doctoral studies at the Center for Research on Antisemitism at the Technical University of Berlin. He was responsible for the reconceptualization of the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial. He has worked as a scholarly head or advisor on various museum and memorial projects, including the redesign of the Mauthausen Memorial, the Richard Wagner Museum in Bayreuth, and the Memorial for the Munich Olympics Massacre of 1972.
